                                                                 Chapter - 7

Nisar  could not came out from guest house almost a week  due to weakness. He now  begun to take breakfast ,lunch, properly  doctor diagnosed it seasonal  fever.  During the days of his illness  he got more close  to him . Later Avinash changed his   bed and shifted himself   to the cot  which was close to Nisar  after the occupant of that  bed checked out from the guest house. .

Nisar,s on going  struggle of one and half decades  in Bombay and his persisting courage to  bring himself on track at least made him realized intricacies of relations both in work and home.  Some are born for other,s welfare and  betterment Nisar was perhaps  one of them as wherever  he  worked  colleagues around  him benefited more because of his  immaculate and naive nature. sometimes he  would laugh on his generosity for giving  away his   job to others easily his this very  generosity now transcended  on his face in the form of despondency

Nisar had great interest in history, political science and general studies right from his schooling.In fact he wanted to appear in civil service examination he had already had set  his mind when he was in intermediatse. He was very much confident in history political science and general studies During his final year in Intermediate he had applied for free ship in which exam fees and some miscellaneous charges are exempted if he  gets through in test followed by interview, conduced by college student welfare Dpt. During interview  when  professors asked  him which area should they ask question he was so confident that he  told them to ask from  anywhere fortunately questions which was asked him he knew and thus  he got benefit of free ship.it further boosted his confidence and determination to prepare for commission.

Nisar was not seeing any ray of hope from anywhere so that  he could get himself out from present stalemate.  He needed helping hand he looked completely devastated, dejected. He was ver much concernd about the  impending ordeal he might have to face. Nisar had been out of contact from his relatives, reasons he never divulged.  He was feeling absolute helpless now. He was a looser he was  ready to face consequence what looser has to face. Nisar never put the blame on anyone  for his present state but he admitted his immaturity in understanding the circumstances which had brought him on this stage.. Nisar used to motivate himself that commission and commission, failure and success are  part and parcel  of life.


On Sunday  Avinash planned to watch  movie since he got exhausted making round of offices without any fruitful results. Nisar also couldn't go out since last one weak because of his illness.  Avinash tossed himself and turned towards the bed where Nisar  laid.

"I am getting bored and you have now also been looking well. Why don’t we go for  movie it will make our mindfresh to an  extent if you wish."

"latest one, adv of some  movies  are coming in Tv ad" Avinash said

" I think  RAB NE BANA DI JODI clip is looking good" Nisar replied.

Nisar was not  very fond of movies. Although he didin,t miss watching movies of Khans and  other selected box office hit  irrespective of whoever had acted in it. But he didn,t watch every movies

'I cannot afford multiplex ,

No issue any talkies which is nearby'  Avinash coincided with his concern.

Nisar  stopped and said frankly  " you know why, because my six sense  made me aware  that coming days would  be not smooth that is why whatever little i had saved i am spending very cautiously. I don’t know how long it will continue and god forbid if savings gets over what would i do'

Nisar,s open talk was enough to reflect his fear of his present unemployed status , so spending on movie in such situation was unnecessary expenditure for him  that is why he told everything clearly but didn’t turn down proposal of Avinash 

" I am not forcing you but i can tell with confidence that you  have not seen  movie since very long" Avinash said with little smile

" Yes it is true last film i had watched  was' Nisar forced his mind then continued ' sorry I am unable to remember at this moment

' You remember once  you asked me about my girl friend  but you didnt tell  about your  girl friend. Did you make any girlfriend in Bombay.' Nisar said smiling.

' Many girls became my friends but  i was so career oriented  that i couldn’t  get very close to them. In fact  i hurt their sentiment. I always thought about how to get  satisfactory job so i had never given attention to girls even though girls would come close to me.” Nisar said smiling.

Nisar after puause begun.' In fact I wanted to stay at home instead of wondering with them  after finishing work although they wanted. They remained merely office colleagues for me somebody said of  my  this attitude STUPIDITY. But I didn't  change  my attitude.

For my this attitude I used to hum on behalf of my girl colleagues., Nisar said smiling

Jo gale milloon main tapak se, yeh to hath bhi na  milata hai.
Ye a jib mizaj ka shaks hai, main kya karoo , main kya kahoon.

 Later Nisar translated meaning of tough word which Avinash couldnt understand.

'You know i blame my parents  for my this stupidity or timidity  or the environment i was nurtured made me stupid, as far as. such relation is concerned. I was  very much family oriented some of them I found my my family but I didn't deserve., Nisar laughed

'Bas itni  se story,'

'Sab abhi sunadoon. You know my personal experience tells that parents  must try to understand  the mind and activity of their wards and  shape them accordingly to cop up ouside.’

"Anyway what did you plan for movie. I will not force you. ' Avinash interrupted

“No issue, Lets go tomorrow .Nisar replied taking out newspaper  from under the mattress and searched out nearest talkies later both agreed on one which was nearest .

" Yes, This theater is fine . It takes  10 minutes from Bus to theater" Nisar further  said looking up to Avinash . He folded the paper and kept  it in same place. Both agreed for tomorrow.

Habits die hard People keep changing their hobbies with the time and circumstances but if anyone of us get addicted to any particular hobby it becomes difficult to quit it easily that is why one had said ‘ Habits die hard.’ Although I disliked company of one of my close acquaintances , Shahrukh, who was known for his cynical behavior and fastidious attitude nevertheless I have always enjoyed his logic and reasons which he used to put during the arguments whenever we used to sit together. One of the realities.... Despite realizing the fact that each one of us makes one's own strategies, planning at one’s own level in order to control the circumstances which directly or indirectly may affect daily life. Sometimes we do succeed in overcoming the circumstances and sometimes we find ourselves helpless before the circumstances.
