Next morning Nisar brought two packets of bread , packet of Amul butter and pouch of milk. Nisar looked at his wrist watch it was about to 9 o'clock. Later Mrs Sinha prepared breakfast.

After finishing breakfast. Mr Sinha lit up cigarette and instructed Avinash to switch on TV. Both Mr Sinha and and Nisar were watching TV and kept discussing on programme,  Avinash was immersed in his laptop just then  door bell rang.

 Avinash went and opened the door. Sohini was standing out.

' Sohini.' Avinash uttered in surprise.

“How is Aunty” She asked taking step inside.

“Come,come, Sohini.’ Mrs Sinha called her

'How are you Aunty, I was feeling lonely at home so I thought to see you.'Bhabhi had also gone to her office'

'Does your Bhabi also work ?'

'Yes, she works in pharmaceutical company.,'

Mr Punit Jha, father of Sohini died five years back from cancer. After death of his father she  got admission in  Software Engineering in pune  and once in month she  used to visit Bombay at his brother's house  who was working  in public sector bank.

' What is your plan in Diwali, are you going to Azamgarh.'

'This year we will celebrate in Bombay. We have been  celebrating Diwali every year in our  native place. This year in stead of going back to native place I came to Bombay as my brother has asked Mummy and my younger brothers to come Bombay. They are coming  on thursday.' She replied glaring at Avinash who was reading her furtively.

Avinsash moved to kitchen Nisar followed him.

'I had never expected that she  would come. I am surprised the way they are talking  freely  it seems  that they  had met after long period'

'Dont underestimate your Mom, she is not less than superintendent of police infact She is interrogating  her in detail .' Nisar said smiling.

'Leave my Mom, what is your assessment.'

'She looks good what else I can say. Don't forget to take contact No and be brave, forget what happened in 8th std ' Nisar said smilingly later  poured tea in three cups. Avinash  put all three filled cups in tray and came out from  kitchen.

.'OK my  love Guru' Avinash replied laughingly he came out with tray  put it on table peering  at her Sohini.

Aunty, you didnt make plan to see Bombay. After all  you are coming first time in Bombay.'

'No I don't. Though Avinash was also forcing me 'Mrs Sinha replied

Sohini left before 1 o'clock but during this period she established good rapport  with parents of Avinash. Mrs Sinha also  felt happy on her company. She promised that next time she will come and if  they remained in touch she will see Bombay with her.

 Avinash  asked  her contact number when both came out from hall  she gave her mobile  number unhesitatingly with smile.

 I am  introvert she looks simply extrovert  very good combination he muttered.

" See, girls of today.  could girl of our time have come out from home so freely. I enjoyed her un stoppable talk and also her behavior with elders. Her behavior shows that she belongs to respected and well cultured background.' Mrs Sinha said looking at Mr Sinha

Aunty, Search a girl for Avinash like Sohini now he has become eligible.' Nisar said winking at Avinash.
' Dont think about me. Why don't you search  suitable girl for Nisar. We have so many muslims neighbours'
Avinash replied promptly on Nisar,s comment

Mr Sinha turned his face towards him taking  puff of cigarette.

'If Nisar gets ready I speak  to some of my muslim friends. I have understood his ongoing problems and the phase he is passing through can be solved only when someone becomes guardian on his behalf."

Nisar silently smiled.

We are to celebrate new year. The way tik tik of second of clock in morning send out message to get ready, make plan of the day similarly count down tik tik of 2019 calls out some of us to make new resolution, new plan for the next year with keeping in account of previous year\s failures and success.Some of us do make new resolution for the next year according to their individual aspiration and capacity. Habits die hard People keep changing their hobbies with the time and circumstances but if anyone of us get addicted to any particular hobby it becomes difficult to quit it easily that is why one had said ‘ Habits die hard.’ Although I disliked company of one of my close acquaintances , Shahrukh, who was known for his cynical behavior and fastidious attitude nevertheless I have always enjoyed his logic and reasons which he used to put during the arguments whenever we used to sit together. One of the realities....
