Yashwant Sinha father of Avinash often  called him  to know as to how his  work was going on, Avinash was satisfied the way his career  had  started so his positive reply would make his parents happy  and like obedient son he would not loose chance getting blessings of his parents. Later Avinash came to know that company got few more project in south India. Beside this small project, company was also  working  out for two more project  in outskirt of Maharshtra but he  was unable to understand why company  had not yet opened its office in Bombay.

Since this was his first job hence he  was working sincerely  with great enthusiasm, he didn’t want  to give any chance to the management to be reprimanded  for his any omission.

One day acountant called Avinash in his room and passed salary slip in his hand that was his salary of the month. First salary of his his life. Avinash had already given details of his  bank account so his salary was transferred in his  account. When he came out of the makeshift  administrative office  he  saw Sanjay Gurav an electrician entered in room muttering in anger, rolling his sleeve up Avinash  stopped for while to know the matter.

'Why my two days salary was deducted when  i had already given leave application of my illness"

'Did you submit your medical report." Accountant  asked

"Salaries are prepared by accounts Dpt  in head office,  they had asked for medical reports. Since you had not given medical reports so your two day salaries were deducted.'

'I shall not tolerate it, you don’t know me, I shall teach you all people lesson tomorrow." Sanjay said in anger and came out from room.

Avinash walked away having thought  what will he do tomorrow. He observed him looking arrogant the way he  was talking to the accountant.

Second day, about 8 to 12 persons gathered in front of office of project manager, they started abusing  accountant  some  of them were  holding small flag in their hands of local political party rest  were shouting in local language and in between using some hindi too. Project Manager came out from his room muttering.

'What happened why you are people making noise’. Mukund, Project Manager  shouted coming out from room later he suppresed his voice realizing  the gravity of the situation when he saw the crowd.

'Electrician came forward  from crowd ' Sir, ask  acountant'. Electrician said politely.

'Accountant has not yet come. tell me your problems and why so many people have gathered here’

'My two days salary  were  deducted. When i asked why Accountant told me  since i had not submitted medical report. that is why salary  of two days  was deducted.'

'let the accountant come, why didnt  you meet me yesterday ,and why are you creating drama here. '

'We will not tolerate unfair,  where is acountant ' One in crowd shouted.

'Ok, listen , I have noted your grievances, I shall speak  to accountant and also  in our head office from where your salary  has come. now pls go. '

'Let the accountant come,'one of them said' some again started shouting.

'I assure you that matter will be solved  Mukund Grover reiterated.

Some were adamant, wanted to see the accountant. When accountant didn't turn up they went back talking  among them aggresively.

later it got cleared that electrician was younger brother of Upshakha parmukh of local party. He demonstrated  his power  by showing his musclemen and one more thing later came out that he was also having his eyes on scrapped materials lied in store but  he could not dare to take the confidence of store in charge who was himself  a local  and perhaps didn’t cooperate him in his plan.

Avinash stopped at ATM center on his way to home. He inserted  his debit card, smile came on his lips, balance was showing  on screen, his smile further increased when he saw  himself  smiling on ATM screen.

 Avinash pushed the door bell, after some wait door opened. Nisar opened the door rubbing his eye perhaps he just woke up from sleep.

Avinash had already made up his mind  to purchase Tv once he gets his first salary. .He had already taken contact Number of local cable operator from Amaan in order to get cable connection. He happily informed Nisar about the salary he got today

"So, today is your very special day" Nisar said lying down on mattress, releasing head on pillow

' So what about the treat '

'Anyday, when you say,. Avinash replied smiling

’ Today i came across the demonstration  of a local party and  how they tried to influence. Avinash said having changed his cloth and  moved to the bathroom to get shower.

'What happened" Nisar  asked curiously when Avinash  came back from bathroom drying his hair under the ceiling fan

'I appreciate the way  project manager handled the situation meticulously albeit he was also looking a bit frightened . I couldn’t understand much  what they were shouting since they were shouting in local language using little hindi. But their behavior were looking aggresive and abusive too.

’People have right to demonstrate if they find themselves being exploited" Nisar  said looking at him
"Fact of the matter is Neither project manager nor accounts  office were responsible for the incident. " Avinash said ,  prostrating himself on bed later told whole story. After taking rest  of few minutes both headed downstairs as usual to spend sometime out of his room.

Shop owner greeted them with smile.

“How are you” Nisar asked

"Fine, Infact i was looking for both of  you’ Shop owner said

,Why, what happened.’ Avinash said

 ‘Some  people  who live in opposite building were  asking about you. They are  in fact my customers'

" what were they asking about ' Avinash asked

"They wanted to know from where have you come, where do you both work etc." he said

“Why  were they  asking about us. ? “ Nisar asked curiously and added

 ‘Perhaps we spend so much time in evening here. Some girls might have complained against us otherwise there are  no reasons.’ Nisar asked

“You must have again teased some girls, Avinash looked at Nisar smiled.

“Take it seriously.’ Nisar said shaking his head giving blink to his eyes.

"Don’t worry we will not stand here from  tomorrow we will keep coming occasionally as we are going to purchase  Tv hence  we will spend most of our evening in our room ” Avinash  said

"What do you think, why did they ask about us" Nisar asked

'I don’t know, but  people who live with their families  are very cautious from presence of  strangers in their locality since you had been almost daily here that is why they might have watched you closely" shopkeeper said earnestly

'Did we do something wrong over here,'Nisar asked

'Did I ever object  on your standing here' Shop owner replied.

'Be positive, they might have been  searching out for suitable boy. We are  smart enough to get attentions of others. Avinash said laughing, he hold Nisar's hand, pulled him and walked towards  main road.
