                                                                   Chapter - 32

Avinash was gettig late for office  so he  gave key to  security guard . He came  almost one hour late from speculated time. Security guard identified Nisar as soon as he saw  him  dialling number from his mobile on gate of society hence as per instruction  of Avinash he gave flats key to him.

 when Avinash  came back from office in evening he saw Nisar sleeping in bedroom..Avinash  didn't like to disturb him. After  almost half an hour  Nisar came out from  bedroom. After handshake Nisar  sat on chair silently.

'I didn't believe when you called up  informing that you were coming back , secondly why did you stop calling .' Avinash asked

'I had stopped calling you since situation was giving  clear indication that I was to see you in Bombay any moment. So I thought instead of calling,why shouldnt meet you directly.' Nisar smirked

'Any way what had happened that you had to return  within three months.'

'It is kind of puzzle even I myself couldn't understand. It was amazing and pitiable too that I got terminated after  getting completed  all the formalities  of medical, even residence permit of three years also got stamped on my passport.'
'was there any specific reasons.'

'You can say either I was under qualified, or overqualified for the position,  or I was made scapegoat  because you know, people  get advantage out of others weakness or ones different personality. Who was benefited and who would be benefited after my termination  i dont know, but one thing is sure that this three month of experience and some where experience of one and half month will prove  lethal,  more detrimental,  such  short experiences are like  shot on ones career  one has to succumb  anyhow.'

After a pause  Nisar continued

'Infact I have been trapped by network of people  who in anyhow want me to get demoralized, I can't be offensive  since my conscience doesn't allow me to be'

'Tell  clearly you again begun baffling ' Avinash interrupted

''Leave the matter' Nisar replied moving towards his bag. He brought one packet out from bag, passed it to Avinash.

what is this.' Avinash asked

'T-Shirt and a wrist watch. I purchased it on Dubai Airport's

'Thank.Avinash replied keeping it on bed.

'How your work is going on and how is Sohini.' Nisar asked

everything is fine. I have been designated Project engineer and got increment too.'

'Congratulation' Nisar said smilingly

'Sohini is in Azamgarh. Her class is going to start from next month so probably will come end of this month'

Nisar went to bathroom to get fresh . Avinash changed the cloth later both finished their meals.

In dim light of night bulb, Avinash was lying on his  bed thinking about nightmare Nisar had gone through,  how long it will keep wilting him,  when will ongoing nightmare stop  pursuing him. On the other side Nisar was lying on ther bed  turning her face to wards scratched, bloated old plastered wall, Nisar was trying to discern the meaning of empty ness, comparing his destiny to it where nothing was written over it except scratches, bloating, crust of past bad phases.

Days were passing as usual. One and half months have  passed since  Nisar  came back from Dubai. His daily activity was to go out near  cyber cafe   twice in week, would spend few hours  over there later came back.  Avinash  had  also stopped asking  him bout his activities, their conversations were confined to programme they watched on channel.

One day Avinash came back in staff room after giving instruction to technicians to finish the work by evening. He was making  report on progress of work just then Mr Grover entered in his room.

'Avinash, pls come.' Project Manager told him  and came out.

Avinash arranged the papers in order, keep all documents inside the file,  later put it in drawer.Mr Grover directed him to sit and passed him an internal memo in his hand.'

Avinash gave a look at memo.

Avinash looked at Calender hanging straight on wall.

Mr Grover begun.',This is a  big project.  Company will be expecting  from  you same sincerity and devotion you had shown in this project. You have to report  to Site Incharge he will arrange for your stay and  assist you i n case you have other requirement.

'Sir, day after tomorrow is not possible. I have to arrange some necessary thing for new place and foremost thing is that I have to sort out the matter related to house tenancy  contract which is on my name',

'Ok. I give you two days leave, sort out the matter.'

'Thank you Sir'. Avinash replied  thinking a bit.

Avinash left room of project Manager thinking about  his flate  rental contract later his whirling thought stopped at Nisar.
Avinash came back from office apprised  Nisar about new development,  bout his career which was going to take a new dimension .Nisar wished him for his new assignment. When Avinash asked about his view on tenancy   Nisar  remained silent  for moment later he said to him to  call  up real estate agent.
